1. Introduction & Definitions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your booking and use of travel services provided by Egypt Tours Online, a trading name of Marvelous Egypt Travel (Gobran Group OÜ), registered in Estonia (Registration: 16557743, VAT: EE102581485).

In these Terms:

• "We," "Us," "Our" refers to Marvelous Egypt Travel / Egypt Tours Online
• "You," "Your," "Client" refers to the person making the booking and all travelers in the booking
• "Tour" refers to any travel package, day trip, excursion, or service booked through us
• "Booking" refers to your confirmed reservation with us

2. Booking & Confirmation

2.1 Making a Booking

2.2 Booking Confirmation

Your booking is confirmed when:

1. You receive a written confirmation email from us
2. You have paid the required deposit (typically 10% of total tour price)
3. You have provided all necessary traveler information

2.3 Lead Passenger Responsibility

The person making the booking (lead passenger) is responsible for:

• Ensuring all information provided is accurate and complete
• Communicating these Terms to all travelers in the booking
• Making all payments on behalf of the group
• Receiving and distributing travel documents

3.3 Accepted Payment Methods

• Credit/Debit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Stripe

3.4 Currency

All prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP), Euros (EUR), or US Dollars (USD). Payments in other currencies are subject to exchange rates at the time of payment.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 Cancellation by You

If you need to cancel your booking, the following charges apply based on the number of days before departure:

4.2 Cancellation by Us

We reserve the right to cancel a tour if:

• Minimum participant numbers are not reached (we will notify you at least 14 days before departure)
• Force majeure events occur (natural disasters, political instability, pandemics)
• Safety concerns arise that make the tour inadvisable

In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to rebook for alternative dates.

4.3 Amendments

If you wish to amend your booking:

• Amendments requested more than 30 days before departure: £50 administration fee
• Amendments requested within 30 days: Subject to availability and may incur additional costs
• Name changes may be possible but are subject to supplier policies

5. What's Included & Excluded

5.1 Typically Included

• Accommodation as specified in your itinerary
• Meals as specified (B = Breakfast, L = Lunch, D = Dinner)
• All transfers and transportation in air-conditioned vehicles
• English-speaking Egyptologist guide
• Entrance fees to sites mentioned in the itinerary
• All taxes and service charges
• 24/7 support during your tour

5.2 Typically Excluded

• International flights (unless specified)
• Egypt entry visa (available on arrival for most nationalities)
• Travel insurance (strongly recommended)
• Personal expenses (laundry, phone calls, minibar)
• Tips and gratuities for guides, drivers, and hotel staff
• Optional activities not mentioned in the itinerary
• Any items not specifically mentioned as included

6. Travel Documents & Visas

6.1 Passport Requirements

Your passport must be:

• Valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date
• Have at least 2 blank pages for entry stamps
• In good condition (not damaged)

6.2 Egypt Visa

Most nationalities can obtain an Egypt tourist visa:

• On arrival: Available at Egyptian airports (approximately $25 USD)
• E-Visa: Apply online before travel at visa2egypt.gov.eg

It is your responsibility to ensure you have the correct visa. We can provide invitation letters if required.

To complete your booking, we require:

• Full name (as per passport)
• Passport number and expiry date
• Nationality
• Date of birth
• Dietary requirements or allergies
• Emergency contact details

7. Health, Safety & Insurance

7.1 Travel Insurance

7.2 Health Requirements

You are responsible for:

• Consulting your doctor regarding vaccinations and health advice for Egypt
• Informing us of any medical conditions or mobility issues that may affect your tour
• Carrying sufficient medication for your trip (in original packaging with prescriptions)

7.3 Safety

Your safety is our priority. We require you to:

• Follow instructions from guides and tour leaders
• Behave responsibly and respect local laws and customs
• Not engage in any illegal activities

8. Our Responsibilities & Liability

8.1 Our Commitment

We will:

• Provide services as described in your confirmed itinerary
• Use reputable, vetted suppliers and accommodations
• Provide 24/7 emergency support during your tour
• Handle complaints promptly and fairly

8.2 Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

• Losses or damages caused by circumstances beyond our control (force majeure)
• Your personal belongings or valuables
• Injury or illness not caused by our negligence
• Flight delays, cancellations, or missed connections (unless arranged by us)
• Changes to services due to local conditions or supplier changes

8.3 Supplier Terms

Services are provided subject to the terms and conditions of our suppliers (hotels, cruise operators, airlines). These may limit or exclude liability and are available upon request.

9. Changes to Your Tour

9.1 Changes by Us

We reserve the right to make minor changes to your itinerary. In the event of significant changes, we will:

• Notify you as soon as possible
• Offer alternative arrangements of comparable standard
• Offer a full refund if the changes are unacceptable to you

9.2 What Constitutes a Significant Change

• Change of accommodation to a lower category
• Change of departure date or time by more than 12 hours
• Removal of a major attraction with no alternative

10. Complaints Procedure

If you have any issues during your tour:

1. Immediate issues: Contact your guide or our 24/7 WhatsApp support immediately so we can resolve the problem on the spot
2. Formal complaints: Submit in writing within 28 days of your return to info@marvelousegypttravel.com
3. Response: We will acknowledge within 3 working days and provide a full response within 14 days

11. Photography & Marketing

We may take photographs during tours for marketing purposes. By booking with us, you consent to being photographed and for images to be used in our marketing materials. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform your guide.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by Estonian law (as our company is registered in Estonia, EU). Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Estonian courts. For EU consumers, this does not affect your statutory rights under local consumer protection laws.

• You have read and understood these Terms and Conditions
• You agree to be bound by these Terms
• You have the authority to make the booking on behalf of all travelers named
• All travelers in your booking agree to these Terms
